Abwoon - "Think about It" - one of my favorite phrases. By that phrase I mean, think about It (that One-Spirit). In the spirit of traditional spiritual writing about Spirit, when a word is capitalized referring to a spiritual entity and not the first word of a sentence, that word denotes the entity. "It" as a word first means "that one" and as I speak of a spiritual entity in writing "It" I capitalize the "I" and "O" in my definition - (that One-Spirit) "It."
Then, think about thinking - do we -humans) really think? While you're thinking about thinking, think about what is real and what is not real.
How spiritual thinking is traditionally done, in religious circles, is that someone else thinks for you. This was all well and good when the humankind's consciousness was not up-to thinking. Yet, today, human consciousness has expanded greatly since the days-of-old. Then, what do we believe "real" is today?
"real" 1: of or relating to fixed, permanent, or immoveable things...2 a: not artificial, fraudulent, or illusory..."
(Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary - Eleventh Edition)
A favorite religious person of mine and spiritually astute mentor once said, "When reading the dictionary for its spiritual content try to use the first or second definitions as the Spirit was here, on earth, before the first word was uttered. Then, the Spirit of a word can be found more readily in that words first or second definition..."
Are we -humans) fixed? Are we "unchanged" or unchanging?
Are we permanent? Are we "everlasting" or will we remain on earth forever?
Are we immoveable? Are we "stable" or do we shift from here to there - more especially in our thoughts?
Think about It! The answer to these questions is an obvious no! Then, we are not really real by definition. If we are not real by definition then, we are illusory, fraudulent, and artificial - in the absolutes of spiritual think that is. We are the opposite of what we think we are - really.
If we are then attempting to find reality and ourselves, we will have to think about It. If we not real what are we? Why are we? And, how scary is that? Something to think about!
