Gaia's Artistry was born from a desire to meld a love of nature, interest in spirituality, and creative gift to share with others. Inspired through talking with open-minded individuals with an interest in alternative spiritual paths I have created a place where they can acquire unique handcrafted spiritual tools and herbal products.

With a long history of female crafters in her family it was genetics that lead her down the crafting path. A practicing witch since 1993 she has always had an affinity for nature enjoying long walks in the woods (without the dreaded mosquitoes and biting flies). She takes pride in working with natural crafting materials through spinning her own wool and silk, knitting and crocheting. She also is a capable seamstress using linen, cotton and silk to produce journals, altar cloths and other fiber based gifts. Adding cross stitch and embroidery to finish the items rounds out her craft skills.

As an empath and intuitive she began a career in social work acquiring her Masters degree in 1996. Deciding that her psychic gifts would be better used when combined with her spirituality she now works towards strengthening both her empathic and intuitive nature. Tarot is a tool she uses to exercise her gifts along with journal writing and meditation.

"What's in a name?" To paraphrase William (Bill) Shakespeare - Bill by any other name would still be writing, "About Spirit."

The question should not be, "Who is Bill?" But, more it must be, "What does he have to say?" Then, what I have to say spiritually may surprise you, or not. What I do speak to however is my experience that I believe is spiritual in nature. Of course, I am a meat man - that is, I am a physical being much like you.

My spiritual journey had no beginning. My present physical journey began in 1942. I have scholastic degrees in Business, Law Enforcement and Theology all of which has little significance in Spirit. How to know the Spirit is rather a simple point as brought by the Master Christ - "There are those that can hear that will hear and those that can see that will see ..." and those that can that won't, I might add. From there on it's all academic. In my experience, when speaking spiritually, the ability to understand is not intellectual.

My first recognizable (in this world) spiritual experience came while serving in the military. The details are insignificant but I came close to death. On the first occasion, from nowhere, something grabbed me and threw me to safety. I weight some two hundred plus pounds at the time. No one present, who could have thrown me to safety, could explain what or how it happened. In my mind however, I knew my savior was ethereal. Then came several more like experiences, in my 21-year military career. Each event brought me closer to what I now know as Spirit.

Leaving the military I joined a large Law Enforcement Agency. While serving in that Agency and on-the-job, I suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). When I arrived at the hospital and was placed on a gurney I heard or sensed the statement, "You're going to be alright Bill - I'm not through with you yet."

In the hospital for five weeks (clinically dying twice) and off the job for six months, I returned to work. While sitting in my office (the injury left me right side impaired) I again heard or sensed the statement, "Write a book! Write a book About Spirit; and, Bill, you will never know It (that One - Spirit) all." Any questions? You have been reading my attempt to follow those instructions.

Whatever I have to say and that you read, don't believe me. Check it out first - check it out with that One - Spirit, the Spirit of Life yourself. My experience has been if the message wasn't meant for you, It won't make sense to you. Just keep trying and have fun on the journey.
